Extinguisher Identification Signs

Identification signs are ideal for displaying above or sometimes adjacent to portable fire fighting appliances. The upper third part of the sign displays what is required under the guidelines of the Fire Precautions (workplace regulations) 1997, which comprises of a white picture or text of the appliance accompanied by white flames and border on a red background. As well as the above, the added benefit of these signs are that they provide extra information to aid the fire fighter or end user such as, a thin colour coded horizontal band indicating what type of extinguisher it relates to, and an easy to follow guide indicating with pictograms and text which types of fires the appliance is both suitable and unsuitable to be used on.
