Fire Extinguisher Cabinets

Fire extinguisher cabinets or protection boxes are available to house one, two or three fire extinguishers, they are typically used for housing extinguishers that need to be located outside to cover a particular risk such as waste disposal sites, chemical sites, fuel storage areas, caravan and camping sites or where weather contamination or atmospheric conditions are likely to corrode metal.

Completely waterproof and robust they can be sited on the floor, but preferably wall mounted for ease of vision and access.They comprise of a swinging door at the front that are fastened either by rubber straps or metal fastening and secured with a safety pin (usually plastic). The door usually has a window (as pictured) to allow visual inspection, however this depends on the manufacturer. They can also be fitted with anti-tamper alarms which activate upon opening the door.

The extinguishers are normally mounted on brackets within the boxes and are secured with velcro straps. They provide an excellent, tamperproof way of conceiling fire extinguishers. If you require anti-tamper alarms fitted please add this requirement to your enquiry.
